The Seahorse Studio puts you one mile from Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park — 447 acres of rare coastal hammock, 1.5 miles of pristine Atlantic beach, the premier surf break in Northeast Florida, over 20 miles of mountain bike trails, a 60-acre freshwater lake with rentals, disc golf, and some of the best wildlife watching on Florida's Atlantic coast. It's a remarkable outdoor destination, and the Seahorse puts you closer to it than almost any other rental in the area.

The studio itself is compact by design and luxurious by intention. The queen bed with premium linens is the centerpiece of a space that has been thoughtfully considered rather than generically furnished. The whimsical seahorse wallpaper gives the room genuine coastal character — the kind of detail that makes guests smile when they walk in. The 44-inch smart TV handles streaming, and high-speed wifi supports real remote work, not just casual browsing.

The kitchenette is well equipped for studio living — a mid-size refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, and microwave for light meal preparation and keeping beach snacks and drinks cold. The bathroom is the unexpected highlight of the space: an oversized shower with dual shower heads that delivers a genuinely spa-like experience you wouldn't expect to find here.

A private entrance with smartlock means complete independence — no shared interior spaces, no required interaction with other guests, arrival and departure entirely on your own schedule. Dedicated tandem parking accommodates two vehicles.

The Seahorse sits on the same property as the Sea Glass House, which is available as a separate listing for larger groups. Both units can be booked simultaneously for groups of up to ten guests while maintaining complete privacy between spaces.

Atlantic Beach is three miles for dining and entertainment. Neptune Beach is four miles. Mayport Naval Station is two miles, making the Seahorse a natural fit for TDY stays, family visits during deployment cycles, and the particular scheduling demands of military travel. NAS Jacksonville is eight miles.

Mayport Village, one of Florida's oldest fishing communities and the source of some of the freshest shrimp on the East Coast, is just minutes away. The Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve is essentially adjacent. Big Talbot Island's extraordinary driftwood-covered shores are 20 miles north. Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach are 25 miles.

Your studio arrives stocked with starter essentials including coffee, creamer, sugar, dish soap, hand soap, and paper goods. Climate is controlled within reasonable ranges — cooling no lower than 70 degrees and heating no higher than 74 degrees. Check-in is after 3pm via smartlock. Checkout is by 10am. Maximum occupancy is three guests.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 180 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 30 days away at time of booking.
